Ex Liverpool star Michael Owen shares hilarious video of bike fail

EX-FOOTIE star Michael Owen has shared a hilarious video of himself falling over – after forgetting to unclip himself from his road bike.

The former Liverpool star clatters to the ground outside his home as he came back from his “first ride of the year”.

The 41-year-old shared the short clip on his Twitter page this morning after he returned from a bike ride last night.

He captioned his post: “First ride of the year and I forgot the golden rule – if in doubt, clip out!

In the video, Michael can be seen turning the corner into the gates of his home while accompanied by a friend.

He then stops beside a low wall outside his property in an attempt to help him dismount from his bike.

However, the striker forgets to unclip his feet from the pedals and clatters into a heap on the ground.

The pundit lays on the ground as he and his friend burst into laughter while watching the mishap.

He then gets back on his bike and makes his way through the gates to his home.
