Country Living Magazine Christmas fair returns for 2019

The Country Living Magazine Christmas Fair returns for 2019 bringing together food and drink experts with cooking professionals.

The gathering returns to SEC Glasgow from 21 – 24 November this year and will see the experts share their favourite festive tips.

The Country Living Kitchen, sponsored by Stoves, hopes to bring together some of the country’s finest food and drink producers to demonstrate how to make delicious seasonal recipes. 

Attendees can pick up tips and tricks from the experts as they prepare tempting seasonal festive dishes, using delicious, fresh ingredients.

Sessions will include appearances from chefs: Jasmine McDonagh of Scotia Spice, Lauren Shields, of Tennent’s Training AcademyKaron Grieve of Larder Love, Iain Pirrie of Ednburgh School of Food and Drink, Bob McDonald from Burren Balsamics and Anthony Gallant from Tennent’s Training Academy.

Artisan food and drink will also be on offer to visitors who will be able to sample authentic regional delicacies such as gourmet sausages and hams, local cheeses and pâté, Christmas cakes, puddings, chocolates and tempting festive drinks.

These will include offerings from the Viking Cruise Champagne Bar which will provide shoppers the opportunity to indulge in some festive fizz.

The fair will also bring together over 350 of the UK’s finest craftsmen and women to offer unique gifts, decorations, crafts, food and inspired interior ideas, to help bring that magical Christmas sparkle to every home.

Craft lovers will also be able to take part in one of the 23 crafting workshops that take place during the fair.
