Castle Rock Edinvar strengthens senior management team with appointment of Director of Placemaking Opportunities

Scottish housing association Castle Rock Edinvar has appointed a new Director of Placemaking and Opportunities to help spearhead development activity in innovation,s partnerships and investments.

Castle Rock Edinvar, part of Places for People Group, appointed Neil Ross to take on the important role.

Neil, from Edinburgh, takes up the role from his position as Business Development Manager at Places for People Developments.

In a career spanning over 30 years, Neil has had responsibility for all aspects of the residential development process from site identification through to build completion.

With a key focus on collaboration and placemaking he has delivered mixed tenure developments ranging from small scale through to multi-million pound, many of which have received industry recognition.

Neil Ross said: “I’m delighted to join the senior management team in this newly created role to help build strong collaborative partnerships and find new opportunities for our special brand of placemaking north of the border.

“As a group, Places for People has a focus on driving innovation for the benefit of communities and I will be also working with my colleagues to develop the best ideas for the wider market.”

Over the next three years Castle Rock Edinvar will invest over £150 million of capital to deliver almost 2000 new homes across Scotland.
