Owner of ill puppy posts video of moment it was stolen to be ransomed for £1500

SHOCKING video shows the moment a sick puppy was stolen from a family who claim their dog is being held for a ransom of £1,500.

The clip shows two masked individuals carrying a three-month-old American Bully called Bronson under their arm as the family have offered a £1,000 reward to retrieve it.

Dog owner Seb Jones from Birmingham stated Bronson will ‘die’ if he doesn’t have his medication.

Seb, 38, posted the video and a photo of his dog to Facebook on September 23 after his house was burgled in the Kingstanding area of the city.

Seb’s post read: “Anyone sees this dog £1000 reward. Phone me straight away. Got robbed from my house at nine o’clock. My kids are devastated and just want their puppy back.

“How can someone be so cruel, and most importantly what will happen to him leaving a loving home and going to some starving tramps that can’t make decent money so have to rob [a] family of their pets.

“They haven’t even got his medication that he’s on. So this poor puppy is going to suffer and possibly die. Please if you see him or hear him let me know so I can bring him home where he is safe and can [be] looked after probably.”

The video shows two shady individuals jogging up a path as they approach Seb’s home.

One of the thieves appear to be holding a metal bar as they move off camera.

Sometime later the thieves reappear with Bronson under one of the crook’s arms.

A child watching the CCTV footage can be heard saying: “Look at Bronson’s ear shake.”

The incident has disgusted many in the comments who are sharing the details to try and find Bronson.

Jayne Heaven said: “Shared how can someone be so cruel. Hope they get what is coming to them and puppy home soon.”

Lesley Jane Clifford added: “Pure scum they need to go out and earn a living with pure hard work instead of being parasites that take what is rightfully someone else’s. We need to crack down on people who commit these sort of crimes, let’s make this fur baby too hot to handle.”

Usher Prowse wrote: “I hope you get him back. Someone needs to teach them a lesson.”

Carol Hegarty said: “Share the life out of this I hope this little dog will be found safe and well.”

When asked today whether he had received any news about the whereabouts of Bronson, Seb was not positive.

He said: “Nothing positive… only pranksters and someone calling [from] a no caller ID saying they have him and want £1500 for his return.”

Seb even offered to leave the thieves Bronson’s medication in a bag outside a shop and gave them instructions on how to look after the ill pup.

Seb posted last week: “He isn’t going to make it through tonight. I’m going to leave his medication in a Doritos bag outside the Co-Op on Hawthorn Road, Kingstanding. Please give him two tablets tonight so I know he’s okay, and he only likes James Wellbeloved dry food.

“I’ll leave that there too, just please come and get his medication and let me know he’s okay.”
