HILARIOUS video shows group of friends holding a “funeral” for their passed out pal at the end of a heavy night.
The comical scene was filmed in on Friday night in Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire, and shows 21-year-old Sophie Reilly asleep on the sofa after a few too many drinks, as her mates mourn their “loss”.
As if the scene wasn’t bizarre enough, among the “mourners” for Sophie is a man in a chicken mask.
As the video begins, Sophie’s pals: 19-year-old Bruce McBride and 18-year-old Kyle Earthington, Brandon Blair, Lewis Daniels, Robbie Shillinglaw and Steven Hill, are sat on two rows of chairs, with their heads bowed as 21-year-old Mark Shillinglaw films.
Sophie, from Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire, lies outstretched on the sofa with choral music playing softly in the background.
A funeral bell can be heard tolling, as Bruce begins to eulogise his fallen friend.
He begins: “We are gathered here today, gratefully to celebrate the life of Sophie” as one of the mourners removes his hat as a mark of respect.
Bruce continues: “She has been a celebration, a joy – a great laughter to be around. We will remember the funny, the great, the happy and sad times that we have been there for her, laughed for her.”
Meanwhile, a totally oblivious Sophie can be seen sprawled across the sofa in the background, clutching a bouquet of Jack Daniels and Buckfast bottles.
As the video cuts out, two of her grief stricken pals are seen wrapping their arms around each other for support.
The hilarious scene was shared originally shared on social media by Kiernan Stephen, but has since gone viral.
The video, which has clocked up over 35,000 likes, was posted by Kiernan with the caption:

She said: “No, I had no idea this was happening they’ve actual done a pure performance and am out cold.”
Speaking today, Mark said: “We just came up with the idea ourselves. The reaction has been unexpected, because we make videos all the time that are just as funny, but that was the first one to go viral.”
