HILARIOUS footage shows an inept motorist move two parking spaces for no apparent reason – crashing into a vehicle as they do so.
The driver reverses out of a bay and then struggles to park in a space a few feet away.
But as the motorist manoeuvres they somehow manage to scrape along the side of another vehicle, appearing to cause substantial damage to both.
The bizarre incident occurred in the McDonalds car park on Ruston Road, Lincoln, on Saturday morning.
Josh Paul captured the escapade on his car dash cam and is bewildered by the actions of the driver.
Paul asked on his Facebook post: “What was so special about the other space??”
One viewer responded: “Words fail me.”
At the start of the clip, the silver Renault is parked between a black Ford Ka on one side and a white Audi on the other.
The Renault reverses out of the space without trouble but then parks on an angle in the space on the other side of the Ka.
Rather than reverse and start again, the driver tries to straighten up while reversing, colliding with the Ka.
It remains unclear whether the driver owned up to their bad parking.
