“Liam plays football and is friends with my Nanas grandson, she supports them at games and always shouts them both on.”
Liam Hand, from Denny, delivered the note to Denise’s son John on Sunday on his way home after Liam hearing about her accident.
Liam wanted to get Denise a gift to Denise to let her know he was thinking of her so on their way from Stirling they bought a card and dropped it into her son John Hamilton.
Speaking today, Liam’s dad Steven said: “He likes to draw these stick men drawings. I was amazed but how much details he put in it and the drawing. He always does a wee story picture on the birthday cards. We bought her flowers and a card.
“He drew it in the car, so when we first saw we didn’t know if we were going to hand it in.
It was really funny but I was bit worried it might be taken the wrong way.
“I told John to open it up immediately the card just to check it and he said it was alright. He took it up later that day and he told me she loved the card and flowers.
“She comes to the football matches to cheer on her grandson and Liam. They get on really well.”
