The young, animated and charming Abbie Murphy, makes a grand appearance to kick off her show dancing onto the platform to Frank Sinatra’s ‘Strangers in the Night’. Her headwear resembles a colourful peacock tail with its’ sparkling jewels.
Abbie has travelled all over the world and has a wealth of anecdotes to tell, she is nothing short of excellent!
She graces the audience with her story, a girl from Essex who became a dancer on a cruise ship and toured the world. It’s not long before her guests are filled in on what really happens behind the scenes between staff members out at sea – see show title.
Her gags also touched upon the problems of the young, some of which she knows all too well, like Tinder dating and finding your dream job.
As much as Eat, Shit, Sleep, Shag is a comedy show, Abbie was not shy to show off her great talent of dancing.
Her ability to engage with the audience is her greatest strength as a comedian, embracing an audience of many nationalities and of a variety of ages.
The audience seemed to thoroughly enjoy Abbie’s active comedy show, but as she said during her performance – you don’t need to worry about an audience “as long as they’re still breathing”.
