Ever wondered what happens when every original member of the cast drops out of a show? ‘A Stand-In Ovation’ sees five understudies come together to perform a series of sketches left to them by the enigmatic A Flamingo Called Frank.

After a successful debut show with PBH’s Free Fringe, A Flamingo Called Frank returns to the festival with a whole new show, consisting of a selection of their favourite sketches from the year.

This year’s show sees a thespian, a temp, a TV presenter, a competition winner, and a gremlin-esque techie thrown together to make an ad-hoc cast for a show none of them anticipated.

The Manchester-based group consists of university friends Luke Chaplin, Simon Davis, Joe Jordan, Jimmy Veecock, and Jordan Vincent.
