Algonquin Park, Ontario

This part of Canada is stunning, with a combination of lakes, forests, rivers, beaches and cliffs, there is an abundance of activities for all of the family to enjoy here. Watersports fans will be spoilt for choice, with canoeing and boating as well as dog sledding, fishing and even snowmobiling all being very popular activities in the park. For families that love to go on camping holidays, Algonquin Park is a great place to try and there are all kinds of events taking place to get involved in from open air music concerts, to group canoeing at Barron Canyon.

Niagara Falls

Canada’s famous waterfalls, the Niagara Falls draws around 30 million visitors each year and is one of the world’s most stunning natural features. A trip to see the Niagara Falls can be combined with other activities such as the Journey Behind the Falls, hiring bikes to see the surrounding area, go on the Whirlpool Jetboat for an exhilarating ride through the rapids of Niagara River, plus much more.

Calgary Stampede

Every July, Calgary hosts an annual rodeo filled with excitement for people of all ages. The rodeo is the world’s richest tournament-style rodeo, so if you want to see how it is really done, this is the best opportunity. As well as the rodeo action, there is live music to enjoy, evening shows, different food stalls and loads of other interesting events and shows going on for a week.
