Three middle aged, middle class, middle England vicars are debuting their stand-up comedy show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for 10 performances during August.
The trio making up White Collar Comedy are Rev. Maggy Whitehouse, former BBC radio & TV presenter, Rev. Ravi Holy, a former rock singer voted ‘Funniest Vicar’ by the four Inbetweeners and Rev. Dr. Kate Bruce, a former English and theology teacher.
The show promises to tell jokes about God, why the vicars choose to be “social outcasts wearing tents” and the bizarre things people say to vicars.
Together they are performing in an unholy trinity of laughter for a limited run at the Edinburgh Fringe.
“You made me chuckle and I haven’t even seen the show yet”—Peter Graystone, Church Times.”
“Don’t make me come down there”—God.
