THE multi-award winning Mandy Muden is bringing a brand new magic show to this year’s Edinburgh Fringe, packed with plenty of tricks and an array of comedy.
Her performances on last year’s Britain’s Got Talent and regular appearances around the world have made her familiar to millions and earned praise from a succession of celebrities.
The show, called Mandy Muden: Is Not The Invisible Woman, is a chance for audiences to take in a tour-de-force of female empowerment from the feisty, razor sharp-witted comedian.
She will appear at the Gilded Balloon venue from 31 July until 26 August in an hourly slot from 4pm.
During her performances on Britain’s Got Talent 2018, judge David Walliams said: “I don’t get why you’re not already a comedy superstar”, while Simon Cowell added “You are very unique and you’re so likeable.”
Mandy said: “I’m thrilled to be back at the Fringe this year. My show will be an afternoon romp of magic, mind reading, audience participation and some good laughs.”
Magic has been a part of Mandy’s life since childhood and she has helped to represent women in the field. Mandy is also a trained actor and has made a multitude of TV appearances on shows including The World’s Greatest Magic on Channel 4 and BBC 1’s Dick and Dom’s Funny Business.
She is also highly respected among other magicians as the only woman to have hosted the Magic Circle and the only woman ever to receive the prestigious Magic Circle Carlton Award for Comedy in Magic.
Reviewers for the show are welcome from 3 August.
