A STUDENT ordered an ASOS skirt hoping it would be “flirty” only to discover it covered up half her body.
ASOS pictures show the Jaded London Neon Snake Print High Waist Skirt go from mid-thigh to navel on their models.
But Gillian Chips found the £28 garment went from just above her knees to just below her bra.
Sharing her pictures online, Gillian, who is studying mechanical engineering, wrote: “What I ordered vs what arrived, lmao sound.”
Referring to a popular brand of caffeinated booze, the 22-year-old added that the dress made her look like “a can of Dragon Soop”.
Below the post, Gillian from Glasgow, also outlined how: “The zip is also broken as I don’t have a massive ribcage.”
She then uploaded another picture of what the skirt should look like saying: “I found this on google images of the same skirt I got sent?
“I’m an average height why is it like a bandeau dress on me?”
“Honestly what’s going on with these massive big huge skirts?”
@elmortonn replied: “Mate it was petite anaw! Sick, fed up of this s***.”
Speaking today, Gillian outlined how she was “horrified” about the skirt.
She said: “I ordered the skirt from ASOS and I paid £28 and I was horrified when what arrived was not the stunning, flirty skirt I had expected, but a massive big snake print tube that made me look like a can of Dragon Soop.
“I’ve sent it back and wrote a note on return slip in angry orange pen stating they have the wrong image on website but just posted it the day.”
ASOS have been contacted for comment.
Last month, a woman shared pictures of a Boohoo dress which made her look like a “monk.”
Paige Mahony bought the £12 “High Neck Oversized Sweatshirt Dress but said the retailer had “done her so dirty.”
