THE SCOTTISH SPCA is inviting women to join their 180th birthday celebration at their Glasgow Ladies Lunch on 12 October at the Marriot Hotel in Glasgow.
Scotland’s animal welfare charity turns 180 years old this year and celebrations will be taking place at the hotel on Argyle Street.
Radio Clyde’s Amber Zoe will be a special guest plus more exciting names and entertainment is still to be announced.
Anna O’Donnell, manager of the animal rescue and rehoming centre in Glasgow, said: “We’re all very excited to host the first Ladies Lunch in Glasgow, especially after the success of the Highland Ladies Lunch last year.
“To celebrate our momentous anniversary, the theme is ‘party’ so wear your best party frock and get glammed up for this not to be missed event!”
“As we receive no government funding we rely on the generous support of the public to help us continue our work rescuing, rehoming, rehabilitating and releasing Scotland’s animals.”
Guests are invited to enjoy a three course meal and a glass of fizz on arrival, with a range of exciting prizes to be won throughout the event.
Early bird tickets can be bought for the price of £56, or a table for 10 can be purchased for £525.
