Speaking today(Mon) Liam said: “It was at the parkhead after the game. Rod was an absolute gentleman just a normal guy out enjoying the game.
“I play before the game in the Kerrydale suite then watch the match then play straight after the game in the Kerrydale to just over a thousand fans every home game.
“Rod had tried to come in and see me but he was over crowded with fans so I went into a quitter lounge with a few fans.
“We had a sing song and it was absolutely brilliant. He was a pure gentleman and I met his sons who were brilliant boys it was an absolute pleasure to do that yesterday.
“We just sang Grace one of our favourite songs. I was just with him for about 20 mins before I had to go back on stage.”
