CURRENTLY playing to sell-out audiences in London’s West End, the hit 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL will play the Edinburgh Playhouse 11 – 16 November 2019.
The musical is based on the 1980 comedy movie, co-written by Patricia Resnick, the legendary film’s original screenwriter, and boasts an original Oscar, Grammy and Tony award-nominated score by country legend and pop icon Dolly Parton.
It tells the story of Doralee, Violet and Judy – three colleagues driven crazy by their sexist and egotistical boss. As they plot to kidnap their despicable manager, will the women succeed in reforming their office – or will events unravel when the CEO pays an unexpected visit?
Inspired by the cult movie, this hilarious new West End production is about teaming up, standing up and taking care of business.
