AN eBay seller has stunned social media users by attempting to sell “fresh air” from various places across the continent for almost £100.
The new business endeavour apparently has an impressive selection of oxygen on display for fans of clean air from the Sierra Nevada in Spain to Ben Nevis in the Scottish Highlands.
Posts have been created by a eBay user who goes by the name of Oskar352 and has listed seven variants priced from £35 to £80.
Oskar’s company, Vital Oxygen, say they will post the fresh air which has been collected from other mountain ranges such as Snowdonia in Wales.
An example of a product they are selling from Ben Nevis in Lochaber, close to Fort William, which is “brand new” and comes in either a 500 ml jar at £40 or a 1000ml jar for £75.
The product description says: “Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in the British Isles, located in Scotland.
“Standing at 1,345 metres (4,411 ft) above sea level, it is located at the western end of the Grampian Mountains in the Lochaber area of the Scottish Highlands, close to the town of Fort William.”
The most expensive item for sale that has been listed is the fresh air from the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Granada, Spain at £80 for a 1,000 ml jar or you could pay £45 for a 500 ml jar.

The Tatra Mountains in Poland and the Peak District in central England are the cheapest on sale at £35.
Online shoppers can also buy air from Snowdonia, National Park in Wales and Cornwall.
The eBay listing was shared to a mountaineering group by an Alan Wilson on Sunday night captioned with: “Sounds like a real bargain plus free postage.”
Jake Smith wrote under Allan’s post: “Is there any Scotch mist still for sale?”
Matthew Tidey posted: “Had to check if it was real. I can’t believe it is.”
Liz Williamson said: “Being Scottish will collect my own and set up market stall.”
Jeremy Foster joked: “Hope somebody doesn’t pass wind up there.”
