A HILARIOUS video shows a man jogging in his boxers on Valentine’s Day morning – while a passer-by taunts: “Somebody forgot the flowers!”
The clip shows a young man jogging in his underwear as work men in a van shout “advice” to the runner on making a better effort next year.
Ralph Barnett from Swansea captured the barefoot runner as he and pals were driven to work.
The mystery jogger was spotted at a slip road near Neath Road in the Morriston area of Swansea yesterday morning at around 8:00am in weather of -2 degrees.
Ralph, 58, posted the video to Facebook shortly after saying “When you know it’s not your Valentine’s morning.”
The video shows a jogger stripped down only to his boxers running on a pavement in Swansea.
Ralph and his work colleagues wind down the window of their van to offer the runner some sound advice.
In traffic Ralph addresses the viewers of the video saying “you know when you’ve been kicked out on Valentine’s morning. Somebody forgot the flowers.”
At this point the van catches up with the boxer jogger and Ralph shouts at him “next time buy the flowers!”
The video has since gone viral with over 85,000 views and has left many people in stitches.
Chloe Millward said: “The most shameful of walks of shame.”
Kalie Varney added: “running for his life he is.”
Dale Tucker wrote: “I reckon he is running away from somewhere he shouldn’t of been.”
Ceri Cook said: “Commitment! Maybe he is just getting her a Mcdonalds breakfast. Deserves knighthood.”
Andrew Rowlands added: “He can’t buy flowers he hasn’t got anywhere to put his wallet.”
Bathroom fitter Ralph today said that the man had apparently ran over three miles before he caught him on camera.
Ralph said: “I have seen a quick picture that he was running about three miles away from where we saw to be running from quite a distance. He’d run at least 3/4 miles to get to that point.”
Ralph just couldn’t resist his Valentine’s Day jibe.
He added: “It just seemed apt that was on Valentine’s morning hence why I made the comment that I did. I just couldn’t help myself, that was the first thought that came into my head.”
Ralph also found himself relating to the jogger after reviewing the footage.
He added: “Today we have laughed at the reaction from everyone. I suppose so many people can relate and always put themselves into that position as well.”
