SHOCKING footage shows prisoners physically abusing “spicehead” inmates who are completely incapable of defending themselves.
One of the victims in the footage is laid out with a powerful slap across the face from a laughing thug.
Another is deliberately made to stand before being released and allowed to fall over.
The clip emerged on social media on Saturday although it is not presently known when it was filmed. The accents in the clip – titled “HMP Spice Zombies – suggest the jail may be in the north of England.
The footage, the latest in a series of video showing spice users behind bars, has been described by viewers as “disgusting”.
The clip initially shows two prisoners sitting a bed looking barely conscious, before another man struggles to stand up followed by roars of laughter from the other jailmates.
The camera focuses on a man wearing a red t-shirt sitting at the bottom of the bed, crouched over, and appearing to rock themselves back and forth.
Suddenly, a prisoner then slaps the man hard across the face, knocking him upright and then on to his back on the bed.
One prisoner can be heard saying: “Oh he’s out cold.”
Another prisoner is stood up from where they are sitting on the foot of the bed, knowing that he is not fit enough to walk, and deliberately dropped, causing them to fall onto the wall.
The victim then picks himself up and tries to leave the prison cell, but is halted by other prisoners refusing to let him pass.
The clip ends by zooming up on the prisoner who was slapped and then focuses on another who is holding onto a sink looking extremely upset.
The video was uploaded to Facebook where it has been shared over 300 comments and attracted more than 85 comments.

In 2017, a passed out prisoner was filmed being slapped in a maximum high security prison, after apparently taking spice.
The clip was taken at HMP Addiewell, in West Lothian, where it is believed the slapped individual had taken the synthetic cannabis substitute.
It has previously been reported that 79 prisoners died in England and Wales between June 2013 and September 2016 as a result of either taking the drug or strongly suspicious to have taken it before death.
