The Portuguese government has put measures into place to minimize Brexit disruption for British and Northern Irish tourists.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding Brexit negotiations, the Portuguese government has prepared a contingency plan to avoid, as far as possible, disruption for Brits travelling to Portugal.
UK travellers will not need a Visa for trips up to 90 days and will still be able to use the countries health service.
Other measures include the validity of UK travel insurance policies and recognition of UK driving licenses.
Dedicated passport control lanes for UK flights will also be in place.
In addition to these measures, Turismo de Portugal is planning a major marketing campaign in the UK to show the British public that they are welcome in Portugal.
