Megan Cartwright shared the amazing snap on social media, prompting one viewer to ask: “How’s he even done that?”
The 22-year-old from Glasgow is currently working in Queenstown, New Zealand.
She captioned the post: “Left my phone in reception whilst I was serving and some random has taken a picture on my phone.
“I literally canny breathe?”
The joker took advantage of the fact that iPhone owners can take selfies on the devices without unlocking them.
The picture, shot very close and from below, shows the man somehow managing to simultaneously give himself a double chin, puffed-up cheeks and manically bulging eyes.
Among the thousands of people to retweet and comment on the snap was @ernjstew who asked: “How’s he even done that.”
