Still Game soundalike goes viral following fans’ protest

HILARIOUS footage capturing the moment a football fan shouting abuse that sounds just like a much loved sitcom character, has gone viral.

Video shows the Dunfermline Athletic players walking off at full-time as various fans are booing and shouting.

However, one fan shouts “taxi for AJ” and sounds uncanningly like Still Game favourite, Jack Jarvis, played by Ford Kiernan.

The clip has more than 117,000 views as Twitter users find the spot hilarious.

The clip was taken at East End Park

Twitter user Adam Allison seemed to be one of the first who spotted this as he retweeted the video from a Dunfermline fan page saying: “That Jack Jarvis screaming “taxi for AJ” from the back of the Norrie? Hahahaha.”

The clip, which was filmed at East End Park in Dunfermline, Fife, shows Dunfermline Athletic players being hurled abuse as they walk off at full time.

In amongst the shouting, one disgruntled fan can be heard saying: “Taxi for AJ” in reference to Pars manager Allan Johnston.

Twitter has since exploded due to how similar the fan sounds to Jack Jarvis.

The tweet has since racked up more than 4,600 favourites and over 1000 retweets.

There were also multiple comments from users who loved the video.

Adam himself commented: “F* hell this has banged. Jack Jarvis Pars supporters club.”

Grant Rolland said: “This made me instantly think of the Still Game episode in Canada when Jack shouts “Ye b**’ dumplin’ ye” at the ice hockey player.”

Brett Molloy said: “Actually sounds like Jack haha.”

Connor McCusker said: “Nah that’s uncanny.”

Dunfermline are currently 7th in the Scottish Championship with pressure mounting on Pars manager Allan Johnston.

The video was originally posted by Pars review and had the caption: “FT: a disgraceful second half sees us throw away a two goal lead. Johnston has to go.”
