HEART-WARMING Footage Captures Car Garage Spreading Christmas Cheer With Santa’s Sleigh.

HEART-WARMING footage captures how a car garage is spreading Christmas cheer by kitting out an old car as Santa’s Sleigh.

The Garage Whitburn, in West Lothian, has transformed an old Suzuki Vitara into a festive treat kitted out with bright colourful lights.

The Sleigh, which is fully insured and MOT’d, has been driven all around the Scottish capital and even made an appearance at Edinburgh castle

Mechanic Ian Robertson, said it has become a yearly tradition as a way of repaying their customers, and says he loves seeing people’s reaction.

They were also at the sick kids hospital as they are fundraising money for charity.

There were several comments on the post which loved the efforts put into the sleigh.

@megankempton said: “Wahhhh that’s so cute bless him.”

@joedoody5 commented: “Brilliant.”

On a separate social media post which showed the sleigh out and about, Emma Macgregor said: “Thanks for last night santa! You made a scared boy come out him shell and finally talk to you ! Amazing!”

Angus Howson said: “Brilliant. Well done the Garage.”

Elaine Hall Brilliant again this year you guys are amazing! Thank you.”

Speaking today, Ian, 50, says the sleigh is something “for all ages.”

“We just want to say thanks to our customers. We we just want to spread the happiness.

“About 14-20 of us make it happen. When the sleigh is out, you need a minimum of six people, including a Santa to make sure everything goes to plan.

“Last year’s car did over 800 miles and it’s already done 400 this year. We’re hoping it’ll do over a thousand this time.

“When we were driving in Edinburgh city centre, everyone’s curtains in the flat buildings start moving when we were stopped at the traffic lights.

“When you sit in it, the reactions of people just sold it for me.”
