A MYSTERY dancer has gone viral after he was caught on camera busting moves on a deserted pier in a remote Scottish island community.
The man danced for half an hour on Lamlash Pier on the Isle of Arran yesterday (wed), starting at 7.30am.
Jules Lee, who owns a B&B overlooking the pier with his wife, Carol, captured the bizarre scene on his phone and footage has been viewed thousands of times.
He captioned the footage: “This young guy was out early practicing his moves on the pier; kept it up for about half an hour.”
Referring to the only sounds on the video, he added: “Apparently accompanied by his phone and intermittently Carol’s computer keyboard. Could start a trend.”
Jules reckons from the dancer’s movements that he may have been listening to Michael Jackson.
Among those to respond to the video was Nickey Summer, who wrote: “Brilliant. Love the freedom of dancing.”
Heather Tanton added: “What a great way to start the day.”
Craig Booth posted: “Name that tune.”
Jules said today: “I was fascinated and intrigued by his dancing. I thought he might have been listening to Michael Jackson.
“I was working at my desk and saw him out my window. I thought he’s possibly the most uninhibited person I’ve ever seen.
“Today was the first time I’ve seen him, or anyone dancing on Lamlash pier. I can’t really say for sure if he was in sync with the tunes he was listening to but looked like he knew what he was doing.”
