Hash-smoking prisoner gets “artist” cellmate to do sketch for girlfriend

A CONVICT has gone viral after sending his girlfriend a portrait of him smoking a joint – drawn by his “artist” cellmate.

The unnamed lag, who was desperate to beat the prison ban on mobiles, is seen in the ink sketch reclining on his prison bunk.

The picture, and accompanying note, were shared by the girlfriend’s sister, Pauline Lafferty, from Barrhead, East Renfrewshire.

It said: “Ma cell mate is a artist and we don’t have a camera so a got him tae draw me lien up smokin the hash [name removed] gave me watching the football.

Before ending the message, he appears to sign it off saying “Remo boys on Tour” and underlining it.

On the other side of the envelope a man with short black hair is sketched in and appears to be smoking whilst lying underneath the covers in his bed.
