Amazing video shows Storm Callum give Scottish hotel a waterfall

INCREDIBLE video shows how Storm Callum gave a Scottish hotel a “waterfall” worthy of Las Vegas.

The footage shows rainwater streaming down the long, sloped garden in front of the Glenburn Hotel, Rothesay, Isle of Bute.

The torrent pours over the walls and down the steps, creating a lake in the road outside.

David Mercer, who took the video early this morning (fri), uploaded the clip to Facebook where it has since been viewed over 10,000 times.

The post generated reaction from viewers, with over 300 shares and more than 60 comments.

Josh Bartsch said: “Oh wow they installed a waterfall.”

Hazel Ramsay added: “Couldn’t have run down the steps as we usually do every morning before breakfast.”

Nick Morton-Grant joked: “Makes a really nice waterfall. I think they should keep it.”

A member of staff at the Glenburn said today: “It was really bad rain this morning. There will be no impact on the hotel because it has all been cleared up now.”
