SHOCKING footage shows “feral scum” attack police with firecrackers as they carried out an arrest – to the delight of onlookers.
At least two firecrackers go off just a few feet away from the unsuspecting officers, who wheel away in panic, attempting to cover their ears.
Members of the crowd can he heard laughing and jeering and one shouts: “He f** jumped out of his boots!”
The incident was filmed in the Holme Wood, a housing estate in Bradford, West Yorkshire, as officers arrested a man.
In the first incident, the clip begins with smoke coming from near to a fence.
The cracker detonates with a bright flash and loud bang, causing the group of officers to scramble clear. Two of them, apparently stunned by the blast, can be seen clasping their hands to their ears.
As smoke rises from the explosion, the sounds of hysterical laughter can be heard from the crowd, one of whom says: “Wooooo, belter, banger.”
A member of the crowds shouts: “He nearly f** jumped out of his boots.”
In the second clip, an officer can be seen running as a member of the crowd yells: “Another, another!” This is followed by a loud bang as the cracker detonates.
The footage was taken by Reece Dulay last Thursday evening who then uploaded it to Facebook.
He captioned the post: “Policeman nearly jumps out his boots. Funny b**s.”
Reece uploaded several videos to his Facebook page which have a combined viewership of more than 300,000 views.
People took to the comments to show their disgust at the incident.

A spokeswoman for West Yorkshire Police said: “A man has been charged with being drunk and disorderly in a public place in the Holmewood area of Bradford on Thursday, 4 October. Reece Bowler, 20, of Elland Road, Leeds, is due to appear at Bradford Magistrates Court on 30 October.
“During his arrest, a police car was damaged and officers came under attack from missiles and fireworks being thrown at them by other people in the vicinity. No-one was hurt as a result of this disorder. Enquiries are ongoing.”
