HEARTS starlet Harry Cochrane is set for a fortnight on the sidelines after suffering a knee injury in an ill-tempered Reserve Cup fixture against Hibs.
The 17-year-old has made just one senior appearance for the Jambos this season – as a late substitute in their 1-0 win over Celtic at Tynecastle last month – after battling an ankle complaint throughout the summer.
He was named in the starting line-up for the Wee Derby at Oriam on Monday afternoon in a bid to build his match sharpness.
He was replaced by Lewis Moore six minutes later, evidently feeling the effects of the tackle.
The Scotland under-19 international was confined to crutches and a knee brace as a precaution, however, Hearts medical staff are hopeful he could return to training before the end of the month.
