AN AMAZON customer was shocked when she went searching online for rose seeds – and was met with images of a woman tied up in bondage gear.
Franziska Kraushaar had expected to find images of flower seeds for gardening yesterday while searching through the selling website.
But instead, when looking at the 20 pack of “Midnight rose seeds” for home garden planting she was met with images of a female in a compromising position.
In amongst one image of the actual rose seeds included two images of a brunette lying on the floor, in a strapped-up harness.
The X-rated image shows the woman with her eyes closed in delight, while her legs and arms are being pulled back by the piece of risque apparatus.
The item, priced at 96p, warns: “Due to the difference between different monitors, the picture may not reflect the actual color of the item.
“The image is only for reference size for manual measurement, there may be a 0 to 2 cm error.”
Franziska shared a screenshot of the explicit discovery on the Amazon website last night, writing: Ehm…Funny looking rose seeds you have there!”
It is unknown how the images ended up on the selling page or whether they were uploaded by the seller by accident.
Despite the image mix-up, the item does have an overall 3.1 out of five star rating.
Since being informed about the images this morning, Amazon have removed both images of the tied up female.
A spokeswoman for Amazon said: “All sellers must follow our selling guidelines and those who don’t will be subject to action including potential removal of their account.”
