FOLLOWING her success at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival with theatre show Bite Me, Dublin-based Joanne McNally presents her latest on-stage act, Wine Tamer.
The comedian shares her own childhood tales and adult mishaps, as well as friends stories and secrets about modern taboo subjects.
Wine Tamer discusses controversial topics today’s women are facing, including choosing to go child-free, living with parents in your 30s and suffering from eating disorders and the fine line between detoxing and having an illness.
A well-known face on Irish media, Joanne is noted for her documentary Baby Hater which is set to be aired on SKY TV.
Having already run in Ireland, the Irish Independent noted Wine Tamer as “Hilarious, dark, edgy, strangely reassuring”.
