FRINGE stalwart Nina Conti has been developing her infamous Monkey routine for 15 long years.

This year’s brand new show sees the actor and stand up comedian return with her favourite ingredients to bake the perfect showcake.

However, when a radical change occurs, monkey takes unadulterated control of the whole enterprise.  Abandoning all etiquette, monkey is on the loose in a whole new way.

Longer-term fans will be well aware that he was always able to say the unsayable. However 2018 monkey can now do the undoable thanks to being “off the leash and fully autonomous.”

Following the three-year UK sell-out success of In Your Face, British Comedy Award winner Nina Conti returns to the Fringe 11 years after her 2007 debut, ‘Complete and Utter Conti’, went on to win the Barry Award at the Melbourne Comedy Festival.

She has since gone on to sell out venues in the UK and across the world, and her popular characters Monkey and Granny have become crowd favourites.

Nina is also an acclaimed actor and director, having starred in HBO comedy Family Tree and Radio 4’s Clare in the Community and Sneekiepeeks, among other roles. As a director, Nina’s debut Her Master’s Voice won the award for Most Entertaining Documentary at the 2013 Grierson Awards and a BAFTA nomination to boot.
