Shocking moment Glasgow “auld yin” delivers a “Glesga kiss”

A SHOCKING video shows an argument between two men in a Glasgow street erupt into violence as the older of the two delivers a “Glesga kiss”.

The clip, filmed in Anniesland on Saturday, starts as a grey-haired man is shown being held by by his friend whilst shouting towards another man wearing a cap.

The man in the turquoise hat then points at the men before walking away but is quickly enticed back after they begin shouting at him. The row is understood to have been over football songs.

The woman filming gasped and said: “oh ya f****”

A third middle-aged bald man, wearing a jumper and trousers, is shown calmly standing ahead of the other two men and begins talking with the furious capped man.

Then out of nowhere, the man is shown leaning back before headbutting the other man in the forehead.

A woman in the car from which the incident is filmed, who had been laughing, gasps in shock and says: “Oh f***!”

The younger man is then shown falling back onto the pavement from the sheer impact – while his cap is shown falling to the ground.

Although the attack is behind a car, the older man appears to be kicking the other man on the ground.

Within seconds the younger man, who has long dark hair, is shown getting back up and hitting his attacker in the face.

At this point a waiter from a nearby Wetherspoons pub is shown bizarrely skipping to the scene to break up the fight.

He other two grey-haired men are also shown approaching the victim as the clip cuts out.

The footage, was uploaded onto Twitter by Jason Carroll, captioned: “The auld yin way a Glesga kiss.”

It has since attracted over 70,000 views and dozens of comments from social media users.

Andy The Photo Dr? @andythephotoDr wrote: “Brilliant, the young yins think the auld boys have never had a fight in their lives. Bloody stoater of a heider by the way. Fabulous technique. A nose breaker.”

Robbie Watson said: “Right on the button.”

Daniel Bathgate wrote: “Some dunt.”

And Michael Mckay said: “F***sake. Some technique on that.”

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland today (Tue) confirmed that the fight had not been reported to them.
