A PAIR of young football fans have gone viral after posting a dreadful “dad joke” they filmed in a pub.
The Kilmarnock supporters found a tap with part of the piping attached lying on the floor of a pub in Maryhill, Glasgow.
Neal Currie, 21, is seen in the clip touching a pal on the shoulder with the abandoned plumbing.
When an irritated Lewis Steele, 22, asks what his friend is doing, Neal delivers the excruciating punchline that he’s giving him a “tap on the shoulder”.
Lewis falls about laughing at his own terrible joke while Neal manages to spit beer on the mobile Michael Stewart, 21, was using to film.
The clip, filmed in the Munns Bar, has been retweeted almost 7,000 times and liked 20,000 times on social media.
The trio were in a good mood after watching their team beat Partick Thistle 1-0 in the Scottish Premiership.
Lewis sits directly in front of the camera, with his pal behind him clutching the tap at the top end. Weirdly, a walking frame is visible in the background, just in front of the dartboard.
Pint in one hand, Neal reaches over with the other and pats him on the right shoulder.
Also clutching a lager, Lewis asks: “Whit? Whit?” and as he turns round Neal flips the tap round to reveal the head. He exclaims: “I’m geein you a tap on the shoulder.”
The trio giggle as Lewis says: “Oh f***, before taking a drink from his pint of Tennents. Hilariously the laughter then causes him to spit the lager out on Michael’s face.
Michael shared the footage on Twitter and captioned the post: “A wee tap on the shoulder.”
Users found it hilarious and also left amused comments.

Speaking today, Michael said: “We were there for the football and the tap was just lying in the corner on the floor so it was just a decision out of nowhere.
“We didn’t expect it to go viral at all but we’re glad our bad humour is shared with so many people.”
