Hilarious clip shows sis of stunt bike legend plunge from stool during 30th birthday dance

A VIDEO shows the hilarious moment Danny MacAskill’s sister took her 30th birthday celebrations too far and went flying from a stool.

Margaret MacAskill from Portree, Skye, had held a party at her house to mark the end of her twenties, and when she awoke in the morning she decided to keep the shenanigans going.

But the stunt rider’s sibling may have regretted getting up to dance to an Abba tune on a stool, as it soon gave way beneath her and sent her sprawling to the floor.

The video was uploaded to Twitter by the ferry worker’s friend Leigh with the caption: “My friend from Skye blowing the a* out of her birthday”, with a crying with laughter emoji.

The clip shows Margaret standing on the small stool, wearing funky sunglasses and holding a celebratory drink aloft.

She stomps her feet repeatedly as ‘Gimme Gimme Gimme’ by the Swedish pop group plays in the background.

The stool finally gives way and Margaret screams as she topples over, the glasses go flying from her face and her drink ends up everywhere.

Luckily she was unhurt and was able to sit on the floor and laugh at her own mishap. A female voice asks the filmer: “Did you get that?”

Leigh’s post has been retweeted almost 3,000 times and has attracted almost 8,000 likes from social media users.

Abbie McKenzie added: “That’s hilarious. I got a fright when she fell though.”

Speaking today, Margaret said: “It was the morning after my party, we had been to sleep.

“I am shocked it had such a reaction but I am delighted people find it as funny as we do.”
