Sir Chris Hoy reveals he got brutally age-shamed – by his son, 3

SIR CHRIS Hoy has been brutally “age-shamed” by his three-year-old son Callum.

The Olympic legend revealed on Twitter last night (mon) how Callum had raised questions about his facial wrinkles – just four days before Hoy’s 42nd birthday.

The Edinburgh-born athlete shared the hilarious father-and-son exchange, writing that Callum had asked: “‘Daddy, what are the stripes on your face?’”

Hoy said he replied: “‘Stripes? Ah…right. They’re wrinkles, son. Thanks for noticing’.”

The post has attracted over 2,000 likes and dozens of comments from Twitter followers.

Brian Smith wrote: “The brutality of innocence…”

Marco Cardinale said: “They are earned with experience.”

Tim Parsons wrote: “When one of my kids told me I had more wrinkles than Crocodile Dundee I knew it was time to stop kidding myself!”

And Kevin Neilson said: “That’s from pulling all those g-forces round the track.”

Hoy is an eleven-times world-champion and six-times Olympic champion track cyclist.

With a total of seven Olympic medals, six gold and one silver, Hoy is regarded as the second most decorated Olympic cyclist of all time.

Chris’s and his wife Sarra welcomed their son Callum into the world in September 2014 – eleven weeks early, weighing just 2lb 2oz.

Their daughter Chloe was born last September.
