Hearts to take 4,700 fans to Motherwell Scottish Cup tie – and have sold out Hibs derby allocation too

Hearts will take a bumper 4,700 support to Motherwell for Sunday’s Scottish Cup quarter-final.

The Tynecastle outfit sold their initial 3,500 allocation within 24 hours at the end of last week and have now shifted the additional 1,200 seats they were handed for the televised tie.

The club’s supporters have also taken up their 3,900 ticket quota for next Friday’s Edinburgh’s derby against fierce rivals Hibs at Easter Road.

Hearts fans are this weekend hoping to see their team reach the semi-finals of the cup for the first time since lifting the trophy in 2012, when they thrashed Hibs 5-1 at Hampden.

A Hearts spokesperson said: “Tickets for Hearts’ William Hill Scottish Cup tie at Fir Park on Sunday, 4th March are now sold out.

“Craig Levein’s men will then head to Easter Road for Friday Night Football, on the 9th March.

“Jambos have moved quickly to snap up tickets for this clash and Hearts’ allocation is also completely sold out.

“The club would like to thank all fans who will be there to support the team in two crunch battles.”
