Hardy finally gets DiCaprio tattoo – two years after losing Oscar bet to pal

HOLLYWOOD hunk Tom Hardy has finally honoured a bet with Leonardo DiCaprio and got a “Leo Knows All” tattoo.

The Mad Max actor lost a bet to his friend DiCaprio two years ago when he claimed he would miss out on an Oscar nomination for his role in The Revenant.

The star was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role as adventurer John Fitzgerald.

Hardy revealed to Esquire magazine that DiCaprio’s price for losing the bet was to get “Leo knows everything” tattooed on his body.

Hardy put off the inking for months saying DiCaprio’s handwriting was too “s***ty” and demanded a better design.

Yesterday (mon) it emerged that Hardy has finally honoured the agreement and had the words “Leo knows all” tattooed across his right bicep.

Selfies show Hardy cosying up to fans in his motorbike getup showing off the tattoo in thick black ink with the words “Leo” and “All” in large capital letters.

Andrew Calisterio shared a selfie with Hardy on Instagram

Hardy recently posted a selfie on his Instagram exposing his arms without the tattoo which suggests his latest addition has been added within the last three weeks.

Andrew Calisterio shared a selfie with Hardy on Instagram, writing: “A couple Pictures for @tomhardy today. Fingers crossed he posts them. Regardless here’s an obligatory selfie.”

One fan wrote: ““F*! Did You notice the “Leo knows…” Tattoo on his bicep? Wasn’t that the bet?”

Another fan, Wendy Jones shared a snap with the star on Twitter writing: “Went to SF today and met Tom Hardy.”

One viewer, Lynn Boughton, commented on a post about the image after noticing the tattoo, writing: “Leo should be smiling now”

Hardy starred in 2015 hit movie The Revenant when he played John Fitzgerald – an adventurer who betrays Leonardo DiCaprio’s frontiersman Hugh Glass.

Not believing he would be nominated for an Oscar, Dicaprio wagered a bet saying if he was to be nominated, he would get a tattoo designed by the Titanic star himself.

The words “Leo knows all” can be seen on the actors arm

Hardy didn’t pick up the gong for Best Supporting Actor but he previously dedicated his nomination to the production team who made the semi-biographical survival story.

However DiCaprio did pick up his first ever Academy Award for his performance as Glass in the film – taking home the prize for Best Actor.

Hardy agreed but told Esquire magazine in 2016: “I haven’t got it yet. Because it sucks.

“He wrote, in this really s***ty handwriting: ‘Leo knows everything,’, I was like, ‘OK, I’ll get it done, but you have to write it properly.’”

Hardy also honoured another tattoo bet in the past with his agent, Lindy King.

He got King’s name inscribed onto his arm after the she helped him raise up to be a hit in Hollywood.
