SHOCKING video shows the moment two women viciously brawled in a busy shopping street – while a little girl looked on.
The women are seen punching, biting and hair-pulling as passers-by try in vain to separate them during the scrap in the main shopping area of Waterford, Ireland’s oldest city.
At one point, a young blonde girl wearing pigtails, thought to be aged around three, wanders in to the chaotic scene and stands watching as one of the women pummels the other in the head with her fist.
The women screech, scream and bite each other as they lie locked together on the ground, despite multiple attempts by onlookers to pull them apart.
The disturbing footage was filmed in the middle of the day in Barron Strand, a pedestrianised street in the city best known for its crystal.
The footage has been shared widely online, and one video has been viewed over 73,000 times since it was uploaded yesterday (SUN).
The three minute long clip begins with a group of women screaming at each other outside of a McDonalds.
One blonde woman, who appears to be brandishing a small bat, screams at the others who seem to be trying to block her from attacking one of the women.
The blonde and a woman with dark hair, and wearing a beige jacket, argue and scream at each other as shocked shoppers look on – before the blonde refocuses her attention on a younger girl.
The blonde and the younger brunette, wearing a grey jumper and black leggings, begin to square up to each other as the blonde hands over the bat to a different woman after repeatedly being told to “throw it away.”
The younger girl then takes a run at the blonde, and the pair instantly grapple and begin to viciously pull each other’s hair – before collapsing onto the cobbled ground.
Disturbingly, one young woman on the fringes of the brawl kicks the blonde while she is on the ground.
Then, as the fight continues, a young blonde girl wearing a khaki parka jacket and red trousers appears and saunters towards the women – as one can be heard shouting “f****** bury her.”
Oblivious to the small child inches away from them, the brunette lands a series of sickening punches to the blonde’s head while the woman in the beige jacket goads them – telling the brunette to “keep going”.
An older man steps in to try and separate the two, but the two women remain locked together on the ground.
Then, as a large crowd gathers, the brunette can be heard shouting in pain for help – as the blonde bites down hard on her neck and the brunette screams: “She’s biting me, help. She’s biting me.”
The two women lay on the ground for nearly two to three minutes before the group of women surrounding the pair decide to break it up and pull them apart.
Social media users were quick to comment on the footage.
Hibees hibees said: “Classy women.”
Peter Packets added: “Filth.”
Sinead Bowe commented: “I must say I am bursting my sides here with laughter.”
While Ben Turnbull said simply: “Tramps.”
A spokesman for the Garda said: “I have carried out an extensive search of our systems for incidents matching these details over the weekend.
“Unfortunately, I cannot locate an incident that matches these details. Perhaps this incident was never reported to us.”
A Waterford family escaped death after their home was ‘fire-bombed’ in a terrifying attack on Saturday morning (JAN 27).
The family, with four children including a teenager with Down Syndrome and a nine-month-old baby, were luckily not in their house when it was attacked at around 3.40am.
JJ Stokes, who filmed the fight, revealed today it happened on Friday and involved women involved in the city’s drug scene.
He said: “They are heroin users and dealers. The blonde girl videoed the small one in McDonalds a few minutes before because she was goofing off with a cup of tea.
“They asked the blonde one to fight, and when she went to the fight there were loads of them there – so she took out the bat.”
