A HILARIOUS video shows the moment a little boy does a “Billy Elliot” and gatecrashes his sister’s all-girl dance class – stealing the show with a solo.
Lyle Irvine, six, was left to watch the class while his mum did some errands last week.
So Kirtyann Haughie was amazed to return and find her son had taken over the class and was amazing everyone with his moves.
The boy from Easterhouse, Glasgow, performed a solo “worm” and so impressed the teacher he has been invited to take part in a forthcoming show.
His dad, Stuart Irvine, shared the clip on his Facebook page and wrote: “So Kirstyann leaves Lyle at Lilly’s dance class for an hour so he can watch, she comes back to him taking over the class and doing a solo. What a boy, I’m folded.”
The clip shows Lyle right at the front of the group as they move their arms from side to side and shake their hips as LMFAO’s ‘Sexy and I know it’ plays.
Ten seconds in, the girls disperse leaving Lyle circling the floor. He stops and after waiting for a few seconds drops to the floor to pull off an impressive ‘worm’ while the dancers at the side point towards him.
Support worker Kirstyann, 33, walked in on it all unfolding and speaking today (MON) she said: “It is a funny wee video and has me in stitches every time I watch it.
“I had left him at the dance class to watch whilst I dropped my sister off somewhere and when I went back in the room they were belting out this dance.
“The dance teacher said he’s going to be in the show now.”
Dad Stuart added: “When I seen the video I was absolutely crying with laughter.
“It’s so funny because Lyle is a lads lad and dancing isn’t something you’d be seeing him do. But nothing surprises me with the boy at all. He’s a comical wee guy.
“He’s a cheeky little dude but also he has a lovely natured big hearted side.”
Lyle has already been in the public spotlight after a video of him ruining a spirited rendition of a Disney song by Lilly, 9.
When Lilly sings “Do you wanna build a snowman?” from Frozen, Lyle replies: “Naw, I want a sh**e.”
The video has attracted over a million views on social media and has been shared by over 14,000 Facebook users.
