Painful moment fed up darts rival hits unsuspecting pal in the leg

A VIDEO shows the moment a man lobbed a dart into his friend’s leg – after getting fed up at losing to him.

Ryan Pollock is seen preparing to throw when a friend behind him chucks a dart which sticks into his lower right calf.

The 24-year-old leaps in pain as the rest of the group, enjoying what should have been a quiet pint in an Edinburgh pub, burst into laughter.

The clip was filmed on Sunday by Michael Osborne, who reckons things then got out of hand with darts flying back and forth. Michael, 24, claims he was hit in the chest.

The 10-second clip shows Ryan attempting to take his shot while his rival sits on a stool, pint in hand.

As the dart hits, Ryan’ shouts in pain and bites his fist. Someone reaches forward to pull it out and he adds: “Ah ya f*****, mate that was in my leg.”

Michael claimed: “The dart was thrown because he was losing and couldn’t take it.

“Everyone was p****** themselves laughing except Ryan, I think he was in a bit of shock.”

Michael added: “It got a bit out of hand. There was more darts thrown. I got one in the chest. It was sore but it didn’t stay in like the one on the video.

“It was just meant to be a quiet Sunday to watch the football.”

The thrower of the dart, 23-year-old Connor Black, confirmed today that he was the culprit.

He said: “It was me who threw the dart. We were playing a game called “killer” and Ryan knocked me out so I got my revenge basically, I think I won.

“It was a laugh though and in good spirits. I hope are going to write about what good a shot it was – absolute bullseye.”
