A POORLY woman was so fed up with her boyfriend ignoring her – she emptied his bank accounts.
The neglected girlfriend “borrowed” her beau’s mobile and transferred all £1,500 into her own bank.
She even used the reference “I’m a d***” to get her point home.
Screenshots of the attention-seeking stunt made their way to a friend of the anonymous couple who immediately put them online.
Student Harry Loftus wrote: “My mate was ignoring his girlfriend so she took all his money.”
The post from the 20-year-old from Sheffield has been retweeted over 600 times and liked over 2,000 times.
Many social media users accused the woman of acting like a “psycho” but Harry insists it was done as a joke and the money was promptly returned.
Harry said today (Tues) “She had been really ill for the past few days and he hadn’t been speaking to her.
“When he finally came back to her he was still ignoring her and he was just on his phone.”
He added: “So she took it off him and transferred the money.
“They’re my mates so I knew it was just a joke, I found it funny. I knew it wasn’t anything serious.”
But several social media users were outraged. One claimed: “That’s abuse. Domestic abuse by the way. If he had done that to her it would be a f****** scandal.”
Tom Stones said: “If my girlfriend did that, she wouldn’t be my girlfriend anymore.”
Helena Young said: “It’s not cute to be ‘psycho’ girlfriend. If you want attention just ask them to spend more time with you…or break up at the most extreme.”
Daryl Manson said: “She’d have been bumped as soon as my money came back.”
Another added: “Hope he got the money back and binned her.”
