Wrestling star Grado reckons striker Jason Cummings has joined Nottingham Forest because he is scared of a rematch.
Grado and Cummings grappled in a hilarious light-hearted bout at the Hibs training centre in April prior to the free-scoring striker making a summer switch to the City Ground.
Footage of the pair rolling about on the floor went viral on social media but Grado, who helped conduct the Irn Bru Cup quarter-final draw yesterday, reckons Cummings is now trying to avoid him.
He said: “I still follow him on Instagram. I think he went down there because he’s running scared of a rematch!
“He looks like he is living it up down there and he has scored a few goals as well.
“He’s a great character. Characters in football are so few and far between, they’re walking on eggshells.
“You can’t offend anyone in 2017.
“But he is just a guy who likes a carry on, it was a breath of fresh air.
“It got 10,000 retweets and a couple of millions hits, it was crazy.
“My management company in America asked me what I was doing letting a football player rag-doll me about!
“I had to explain it was just a carry on.”
Grado, who also appeared on Scottish sitcom Scot Squad, added: “It was brilliant because I never knew he was going to do it.
“I was sitting there and the next thing he came in and the music was blaring and I thought: ‘what am I going to do here is this for real?’
“I just played along and what a good bunch of guys they were.
“I think Neil Lennon has done well there, he has a very good locker room, how they get on off the pitch definitely reflects on how they get on on the pitch.”
