Hibs’ forthcoming visit of Aberdeen is heading for a 16,400 home sell-out.
The club’s fans have been quick to snap up tickets for the October 14 clash in the wake of the weekend’s impressive 2-2 draw at Celtic.
The Leith outfit said yesterday that less than 700 briefs were remaining for the match against Derek McInnes’ side, who are locked on 20 points with Celtic at the top-flight summit.
The first Edinburgh derby of the season on October 24 is set to be watched by a sell-out crowd, with Hibs fans already having taken up their entire allocation for the visit of fierce rivals Hearts.
A Hibs spokesperson said: “Tickets for Hibernian’s next home match with Aberdeen are selling fast, with less than 700 tickets currently available for Hibs fans in the Famous Five, West and East Stands.
“Aberdeen currently sit second in the Ladbrokes Premiership after an unbeaten start to the league season, whilst the Hibees will be looking to build on last weekend’s performance and result at Celtic Park.”
