HIBERNIAN are running the rule over former Rangers starlet Jason Krones.
Krones, 18, turned out for the Hibees’ Development Squad yesterday in their 2-1 defeat against Falkirk as he attempts to win a deal with the Easter Road outfit.
He has also been training with the capital club at their East Lothian training base under the watchful eye of youth chiefs Eddie May and Grant Murray.
The towering centre-back has represented Scotland at under-15 level as he rose through the ranks at Ibrox, however he is now on the hunt for a new club after being released by the Glasgow giants.
Krones has also turned out for Gala Fairydean after being farmed out to the Lowland League last season.
