Three stunning west coast homes on sale for price of one London flat

THREE unique, neighbouring homes on the stunning Ardnamurchan peninsula are on sale for a combined price of less than a two-bedroom flat in London.

The trio of architect-designed lodges boast breathtaking views across Loch Sunart as well as mod cons such as underfloor heating, powered by solar panels and ground heat pumps.

And the former five star luxury holiday homes, containing a total of six bedrooms, are on sale for for a combined price of offers over £1m.

Three-bedroom Aspen Lodge would make an ideal family home

Alternatively, they can be snapped individually at £250,000 for the one-bed, £300,000 for the two-bed and £450,000 for the three-bed.

The Seashell, the smallest of the three, has a grass roof and is built into the hillside. It has an open plan kitchen, living room and bedroom as well as a double spa bath – which sits right beside the specially designed bed.

A wet room, open fireplace and state of the art lighting are also included.

Aspen Lodge, the largest of the properties, has three individually designed bedrooms, an open plan layout and a handcrafted log store – for the home’s rustic open fire.

All three properties offer stunning picturesque views of Loch Sunart

Brightwater Lodge features a breathtaking cathedral window to the front of the property and a beautiful hand carved staircase.

For only £300,000 the new owners can revel in complete privacy and seclusion – but is still easily accessible from the road.

The two-bedroom home features glass windows and doors on all sides, with easy access to the property’s grounds which is a stone’s throw from the shores of Loch Sunart.

Brightwater also has underfloor heating, an open fire, solar thermal panels and an air source heat pump.

Property consultants Galbraith, who are advertising the properties, said of Aspen: “The stunning property, which enjoys seclusion and privacy, has been designed as a very spacious contemporary home built to the highest standard and with the same attention to detail and unique character which sets all 3 properties apart.”

The Seashell would make a perfect lovers retreat

Turning to the one-bed, they added: “Designed to blend into the surrounding landscape, The Seashell is topped with a stunning, eco friendly turf roof dotted with wild flowers. Wrapped around the house is attractive wooden cladding providing a low maintenance outer shell.

“Brightwater Lodge offers complete privacy and seclusion yet is easily accessible from the road. The property is surrounded by very pretty garden grounds and includes a delightful area to sit and watch the varied wildlife or entertain while enjoying uninterrupted views of the loch and hills beyond.”

By contrast, in London, £1m will stretch to a two-bedroom flat in Hampstead boasting a small private patio area and great transport links.
