The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo is as integral part of Edinburgh’s Festivals offer, running currently with the Edinburgh International Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe.
Today’s photo of the day was caught during the cast’s rehearsal for the daily shows. With so much packed into one show, involving stunning levels of military precision and high performance quality from each act, you can really see how the rehearsals pay off.
The Tattoo is located on the esplanade of Edinburgh Castle and runs from the 4th to the 26th of August with performances taking place every day except on Sundays.
