Former Aberdeen and St Johnstone defender Kevin Rutkiewicz has been unveiled as the new assistant manager of Annan Athletic.
The 37-year-old has been reunited with Peter Murphy after playing alongside the new Black and Golds manager at Ayr United.
Rutkiewicz turned out for Clyde at the tail end of last season after recently playing in the juniors ranks with Blantyre Victoria and Irvine Meadow.
The versatile defender has also played for Dunfermline, Morton, East Fife and American outfit Carolina Railhawks.
Annan manager Murphy said: “Having known Kevin for a few years, firstly meeting and playing with him at Ayr United then doing our UEFA A Licence together, I was very excited to get him in.
“Kevin knows Scottish football inside out and has countless contacts in the game.
“Most importantly, his enthusiasm and work ethic is infectious – which the players will thrive on. I feel Kevin is one of my most important signings to date.”
