STILL GAME star Ford Kiernan didn’t hold back with his opinion of Emeli Sande’s performance at Glastonbury – describing it as “s***e”.
The Scottish actor took to Twitter last night to air his views as the Aberdeenshire singer belted out her hits at the music festival.
Kiernan, 55, added insult to injury by misspelling the star’s name as he tweeted to his 63,000 followers: “I’m gonna stick my neck oot, Emile Sandie is s***e!”
His tweet has had over 550 likes and retweets as well as countless more comments from his followers – many of whom agreed with his brutal assessment.
River City actor Gary Lamont wrote: “Pure riddy.”
Gillian Murray commented: “Don’t get her at all, guff.”
John Paul Reilly wrote: “I didn’t even look up at the tv.”
Karen responded: “Thank you! I have never understood the furore around her.”
Whilst Iain Wood added: “Sucks the life force out of anyone within earshot.”
But some stuck up for Sande, with Robbie writing: “I’m not a fan but she’s no s***e, wind it in.”
And Beth added: “Love her.”
A new series of Still Game is set to be filmed soon after Kiernan’s co-star Greg Hemphill tweeted that the scripts had been finished earlier this month.
Emeli Sande has won four Brit Awards and three MOBO awards for her music and in 2013 picked up Best British female and Best British Album at the Brits for “Our Version of Events.”
