LIVINGSTON have snapped up prolific striker Josh Peters from Forfar – and Hearts frontman Nikolay Todorov could follow.
Peters, 20, bagged 17 goals last season as the Loons won promotion from League Two through the playoffs.
He was also briefly on the books of Hibs during the 2015/16 campaign after making his name in the Highland League with minnows Strathspey Thistle.
A Forfar club spokesperson confirmed: “Josh had an agreement with the club that if a chance to join a full time club came along at the end of his one year contract at Station Park, he would be allowed to leave with no compensation being sought.
“Livingston have come in and made Josh an offer to join them and not surprisingly the former Hibernian striker has decided to take up that option.”
Todorov, meanwhile, spent the second half of last season on loan with the Lions and contributed to their comfortable League One title triumph by scoring four goals.
Boss David Hopkin is a fan of the physicality he brings to the side, while the Jambos are keen to see how the former Nottingham Forest youngster handles the step up to the Championship.
Todorov has been away with the Bulgarian under-21 squad, having made his first start at that level in their clash against Georgia last Thursday, but barring any unforeseen hitches is expected to complete the switch to West Lothian when he returns.
