A RAIN-SOAKED bagpiper came up with an ingenious solution to playing his instrument and keeping under cover.
The ingenious musician simply strapped a brolly to his bagpipes and kept on playing despite lashing rain in Glasgow.
Filmed by Frank Urban as he was walking along Buchanan Street in the centre of the city, the piper is seen belting out a tune as people hurry past him in the downpour.
Turning to face the camera, the young musician’s donation box can also be seen filling up with water.
Speaking about the gutsy piper, Frank said: “As you can see it was raining heavily and most people were hurrying about with brollies and hoods up.
“I heard the piper before I saw him and thought he was crazy. Then I spotted the brolly and laughed.
“That’s when I took the video and left a small donation for his ingenuity and his talent.
“Interestingly the case lying on the ground, where people were donating was full of water and most of the money was submerged.”
Posting the clip online, Frank said: “Loved the brolly idea! Glasgow.”
Currently the clip has received over 500 likes with many viewers commending the young man.
